The rest of the drive after Elliot’s motivational speech was quiet because instead of overthinking my situation, my mind kept on drawing me back to what Elliot said about me being one of the strongest people that he knows and that one day I will look back on everything that happened and smile.

I don’t think that I am as strong as he said, but at the same time, I can’t help but wonder if he actually meant what he said or he was just trying to make me feel better, but either way, I really needed to hear those words, so let’s just say that he said the right words to me at the right time, so I am going to take his word for it.

The driver finally dropped us in front of Emerald bay hotel, so I checked into hotel but I think Elliot went to Crowne Plaza, I am not sure if I got the name correctly because my brain wasn’t settled enough to absorb the hotel name, all I just know is that he went to the hotel where his girlfriend was logged to see if he was going to get a room there.
