Chapter 27

Eden was driving home from the agency, still in Malakai's car which she keeps forgetting to give back and the other forgets to ask, when she felt like she was being followed.

Eden tried to keep a steady pace but when she noticed the vehicle behind her, she sped up a little. It was difficult to see which car it was since it was night, but she could see it was either dark blue or black.

Eden made unnecessary lefts and rights just to check and yeah, she was being followed. She got a little scared, which she promised she wouldn't, but she did. It was a little stupid though since she was a serial killer himself.

She decided not to go home just yet and find out who was following her. She wasn't going to lead them straight to where she lived.

So she dialled Malakai's number from the car, since she connected his phone long ago, the car was practically hers, and the older one picked up 2 rings later.
