The next morning I awoke feeling as if yesterday had been all a dream. Seth had left after settling me down and I was more than a little disappointed that him leaving had been his idea and not mine. I was supposed to have been the one to kick him out of my condo but instead, I had clung to him as he held me. Weak, I was fucking weak where he was concerned. I knew I was in denial. I still loved him and as much as I hated him I wanted his words to be true.
Getting up I reached over grabbing my phone frowning when I saw that my phone had no new messages, the only thing happening on it was my email. The next morning I awoke to an empty bed and I could almost make myself believe that I had dreamed up the whole night. Almost, the fact that was laying naked in bed and could smell coffee made it clear that last night had been no dream.
