Lucas folded his arms across his chest, observing Luna as she lay in bed, wrapped snugly in blankets.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" Luna's voice sounded raspy and weak, prompting Lucas to raise an eyebrow.

"Are you really sick?" Lucas inquired.

"Of course, why would I lie? Didn't you hear what Kris said earlier? He mentioned that I need further examination. That means something must be wrong with me," Luna responded, but Lucas remained silent, seemingly lost in thought.

Lucas, who was already halfway to his office, had to turn his car around and head back to the mansion. He realized he had left behind important files he needed for a client meeting. Due to avoiding Luna for the past week, he had been waking up early to avoid any direct interactions with her.
