You're interrupting my sleep

Luna tried to close her eyes despite the difficulty, even though she had been attempting for the past hour. Sleep evaded her, and she lay on her side, facing the large window that now revealed the night sky devoid of stars, only showing a crescent moon illuminating the city of Los Angeles.
