Irene winced as Theodore's grip on her hand tightened, causing her to fear that her wrist might dislocate if he continued to drag her.

Startled by her moans of pain, Theodore immediately released his grip and observed the anguish on her face, leaving him confused about what had just happened to her.

"What's wrong? Are your wounds hurting?" he asked softly, struggling to recognize his own voice as he posed the question.

"N-no," Irene stammered, feeling flustered by his proximity and how closely he stood beside her. It made it difficult for her to articulate her thoughts clearly.

She couldn't understand why his cologne seemed to render her speechless, preventing her from expressing herself and comprehending the situation fully.

"Then why are you moaning like that? Is my touch triggering something within you?" Theodore inquired, his eyes filled with curiosity.

He didn't know why he had asked that question, but her moan had stirred something within him, causing an unexpected physical react
