Irene jumped in surprise as the door suddenly swung open with a loud crash, without any warning or knock. She couldn't believe someone would enter a room so rudely, especially when it wasn't even their own.

She couldn't comprehend how someone could lack such basic manners. It was truly shocking.

"You're back?" Theodore eagerly asked, waiting for her to enter his house.

He could have brought her back himself, but he refrained from doing so, knowing how scared she was at that moment. He didn't want to ruin things by forcing her.

Without waiting for her response, he sat beside her and took hold of her hand, examining the injuries and the bleeding. It irritated him.

Irene gasped in shock at his authoritative demeanour. It was commendable how he carried himself, as if he could do anything. That's exactly how he was behaving at that moment.

"Ahmm," Irene moaned as he pressed on her wound. "I told you, everything has consequences. And it seems you enjoy the consequences more than anything,"
