Last Time Together

"Why quiet, Bridgette? You look sad, don't you want to carry my child?" Axe asked after I didn't respond for a long time. Of course he was still waiting for me to forget his original intention of touching me.

Seeing Axe's changing facial expression, I quickly shook my head and forced a warm smile at him.

"I want to, but not now. I'm not ready yet."

"Why?"

"I can't even take Oracle's attention, Axe. I'm sure you still remember Oracle's rejection had a bad effect on me."

There was a sigh from the man who was still on top of me with a pitiful smile on his face. "Fine," Axe said amidst a flurry of warm caresses of my face.

"I'll wait until you're ready," he continued, then unexpectedly kissed my lips briefly and ended up crushing them roughly. Axe's hand moved to open the hoodie I was wearing, but luckily I quickly realized and immediately held his hand back.

"Why?" The same word came back from Axe's lips. In the last few minutes, how many times had he asked me that question?
