Unexpected Wedding

I sat on the bed playing with my fingers in the translucent gloves that covered half of my arms.

My breathing was ragged as I remembered that today was the day I never wanted to live. Marrying a man I didn't love was never on my bucket list. But fate always has a way of turning things I've set into nothing and things I've never imagined into reality.
