NINETY THREE

I woke up to the sound of the door closing, its loud and alarming sound ringing out severely in the silent room.

"Emmy!" I screamed as I jumped to my feet, my heart in my throat hoping she was just being nosey around the apartment. An apartment I had brought us to in the hopes it would keep us off my father's radar and give me and Samuel time to recover. But regardless of the reason for our visit, I had taken her to a new realm— one that was dark, dangerous, and unforgivably harsh.
