Jenna froze.

This girl was crazy.

Instinctively she shuffled backwards, moving away from the girl until her back hit the wall.

The basins above her head provided little cover and she had nothing to use as a shield. She lifted her leg, ready to kick at the crazed girl if she approached.

She screamed as her attacker lunged, trying her best to kick her away.

Somebody must have heard the commotion because the doors flew inwards with a slam. Seconds later, Charlene was on the ground.

Jenna was shocked to see her rescuer was Jacob. She couldn't stop staring at him as he pinned Charlene to the ground.

He wasn't a very big guy.

'But he must be quite strong,' Jenna thought.

"Are you okay?" he asked her.

As his attention shifted, Charlene broke free from his grasp and shot out into the hallway.

Jacob looked up as if he might follow.

"Just let her go," Jenna said, voice shaking. "I don't think she'll hurt anyone else. She has it in for me."

He nodded, staring at her as if he was in shock.
