Sitting on the wall opposite the corner shop, Sam kicked his heels against the brickwork in quiet rhythm as he enjoyed his second cigarette of the morning.
He was making so many ‘spur of the moment’ trips to the shop that Mum had started to get suspicious. This was the reason he'd re-taken up skateboarding, just to use as an excuse to leave the house.
