Chapter 43

PHOEBE is already lying on the bed. She was in between by her twin son. She couldn't sleep that night. She glanced at her cellphone that was on her desk, near her bed. She sighed and nodded slowly so the two wouldn't wake up.

When she finally got out of bed, she took her cellphone and went out to the veranda. Maybe he's still awake. She looked for Caldwell name in her contacts and called him. It took a while before he was answered.

'Thank god, he's still awake.'

"Hello? Speaking?” direct answer from the person on the other line.

She moved the cellphone away from her ear when the woman answered it. What the hell? She put it back in her ear again.

"Hello?" Its really a female voice. Her voice seems familiar to her thought.

"Wife, who's that? Let sleep.” She raised her eyebrows when she heard the man's voice. It's not Caldwell.

When she look at the number she had called, it was Caldwell name. Did Caldwell change his number and give it to others?

"Wait love, someone is calling my b
