Chapter 44

A while ago, Nate was quiet so Phoebe was nervous. She was afraid to speak because he might ask her something. He couldn't answer all of that yet. She's moved on, that's what she knew...but she's not ready to tell him or them everything.

“It's him, right?” She jump on her seat when he suddenly spoke. This is what she was saying.

Instead of answering him, she looked out the window. They are also close to their mansion. She closed her eyes tightly, praying that they would come quickly.

"Meira Hayaizel!" Damn! He was calling her name now.

‘Don't open your mouth, Meira. Don't you ever dare!’ she chastised herself. Their car entered the gate. They were only a few meters away from the mansion.

"Meira, what the hell?" He was annoyed that she didn't speak.

'Just be patient, self, you're close too.' They're so close. She's simply touched the door.

"Aren't you really..." He couldn't continue what he had to say when their car stopped

She quickly got out of the car and went inside without look
