Mrs. Peters didn't need any driver or escort to follow them around. She did the driving while Jane stayed beside her in the passenger's seat.

Jane truly wondered what they were going to do and how Alex was going to react to this.

“I'm sorry, Alex. I had to do this for us.” Jane prayed silently in her heart.
