“Who thinking about putting a bullet in now, Wessie?” Lachlan asks, draping his arm over my shoulders and leaning against me. My best friend can read me like a book. Though I’m fairly certain my resting bitch face is none existent, my face shows exactly what I’m thinking.
“You know who, Lockie,” I reply to him. He hums under his breath.
He sighs. “You’re biased since you're my bestie. Car is harmless,” he slurs nonchalantly. I don’t agree with him, but I’m going to tell him that.
