Chapter Forty-Two: Family and Foreboding

I almost forgot what it was like to cook alongside Dominic Zanetti, who is a five-star chef that specializes in Italian cuisine. It’s been at least two years, seeing as how last year it was just Lachlan, Weston, and I while Ransom had already gone to his job in that prison. Dominic and I perform well as a team in the kitchen, understanding what each of us needed in order to prepare the meal. Dominic and I started on it last night. We both brought some items that were prepared last night, but we still had a ton of food to cook this morning in Mrs. Channing’s kitchen. Not that either of us minded since we both brought all of our ingredients and we have been discussing doing a large thanksgiving feast this year since last month. He is still attempting to get me to be his sous chef, but as much as I enjoy cooking for my family, it’s not my passion.
