Channelling Deep Longing

Bastian was in his room with Renata. He received a message from Vincent that there was no movement from Tristan. Bastian hoped that all the preparations for their wedding until the day of the event would be without any interference from Tristan and Livy.

Bastian turned his head as the slurred voice called out to him.

Bastian smiled as he put his cell phone away on the nightstand. Then he walked over to Ariana and crouched down in front of the toddler girl.

"What baby?"

"This is for Dadi," said Ariana, handing him a small yellow flower.

"Thank you very much," said Bastian, accepting the flower from Ariana's cute hand, and suddenly Ariana kissed Bastian's cheek.

"Oh my God, whose child is this? How flirtatious you are," said Renata, who had just entered the room. She sat down on the rug next to Ariana.

"This is Mommy's husband; you can't be flirtatious," said Renata, making Ariana chuckle.
