CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHT
LUNA’S POV
It’s almost ten pm and I’m walking over to Asher’s bedroom so we could talk. I want to thank him for everything he did for me today. You have to idea how embarrassed I am to go and face him right now.
When Alora and I arrived, everything was as she had explained. A room had been prepared for me and it contained all my stuff in the appropriate positions. She even showed me the tampons Asher had given to her and indeed they were mine. Through out dinner I couldn’t meet his gaze and didn’t utter a word to him.
Asher being Asher didn’t utter a word to me either.
No matter what, I have to thank him and that’s why I am headed for his bedroom right now. When I arrive at the door, I heave out a heavy breath and knock and in no time the door is opened but a very shirtless Asher.

LUNA’S POVI walk into the diner and I’m not surprised at all to see Asher setting the table for breakfast. Most at times he prepares my breakfast whenever I sleep over. I am beyond shocked to wake up and find myself lying on my bed. I don’t remember coming in here myself, I fell asleep while cuddled up in Ace’s arms. He can’t be the one who brought me in here because he doesn’t know my bedroom. This house is quite large, he would never have figured it out.I’m loosing my mind right now. I need to find answers. I pick up my cell phone from the night stand and step down from my bed. I walk out of the bedroom ignoring the fact that I might be looking like a scarecrow because I just woke up from sleep. LUNA’S POVSo, as if showing up at Asher's house unannounced wasn’t enough, Kyle just decided to ruin my evening by telling me that someone else took my place at the company. He’s all about how he doesn’t want me stressing up myself and I don’t know how many times I have to tell him that I’m pregnant not dying. Blink.Blink again.My eyes are greeted with perfect male facial features. Asher sleeps like a God.My eyes trail down his perfectly closed eyes down his well chiseled jawline and then his lips. ASHER’S POVI park in the driveway at the Heritage Empire premises and walk into the lobby totally aware of the commotion my presence is causing. I’m not any ordinary Attorney in my country, I’m actually the best and I take after my father who’s now an Attorney General. Politicians detests me because I don’t compromise when it comes to exposing their evil deeds. I had my first major case when I was twenty four, I had just started working in in my father’s law-firm and he entrusted me with a political case. The former Minister of Finance had a bad attitude of embezzling state funds and investing in other countries. He was sued by my very own father and he entrusted me with the case.I can still remember how worked up I was throughout that case, but with the help of some IT experts and legal duty colleagues, I aced it. I provided all the evidence against him and now his greedy ass is somewhere in the Central prison paying for his sins.
