Chapter 20. WORST HUMAN

(Freya's POV)

"L-letters from the court?" my mouth gaped as I received the letter with trembling hands.

"Yes, please sign the handover here," he said as he handed me a pen and receipt paper.

I still couldn't think clearly as I signed it and then he left. With heavy steps, I walked back into the house and opened the letter I received.

How surprised I was when I saw the contents of the letter which turned out to be a letter from Ash. A letter requesting custody of Sia and Gia. I was shocked by what I read. I was so shocked that I collapsed on the sofa in a panic.

My heart was beating very fast. I crumpled the letter with anger and disappointment that made my chest feel tight. After everything he did to me, was he still not enough to make me miserable?

It's been four years since we separated. I thought he'd changed into a better person, but I was wrong. He was much more evil. He couldn't even be considered human at all. Or do all humans have no heart?
