"Fuck! I should have thought that my schedule is packed for today." I groaned as my hangover grew worse.

"Here, take this. It'll help you." Jonathan handed me advil and lemonade.

"Thanks, bestie. You're my life saver. What would I do without you?" I thanked him and popped the pill in my mouth and swallowed it with lemonade.

"Your husband will take care of you." Came his cold reply which forced me to look at him.

His face was blank. He had been acting very strange for days but I never noticed until this moment.

"Don't bother yourself. After all, you proved that I am nothing in your life." He said in a very harsh tone.
