Andy stepped back and held Janet’s hand before covering her behind him. Janet turned to the other side and took a pole of lamp shade handed over to her by one of the colleagues and handed it over to Andy. Hearts were racing as the killer tilted his head and walked toward the dead woman on the floor.

He bent and took the knife that was stabbed on the back of her neck, making blood sprout out. Andy knew what was coming next. The man’s eyes were fixed on Janet, who was the only defenseless person among them, not even a pillow in her hand. That was why Andy held Janet’s hand tightly and looked at the man challengingly.

The killer’s eyes shifted from Janet to Andy as his eyes burned fiercely as if he wanted to tear Andy into pieces. The next moment, he charged at Andy with a knife and Andy didn’t think a second before raising his pole and hitting the head of the killer right before he could stab him.
