I anxiously waited in the getaway vehicle as my crew disappeared from sight. We were hired to steal from the most well-known jewellery company in South Africa. I quickly looked back at the elegant sign that stood boldly above the entrance. Van Kline Jewellers. The target was an 18 karat white diamond necklace. Anything else that we took was ours for the keeping.
I gripped the steering wheel firmly, which made my knuckles turn white. A thin layer of sweat had already collected on my forehead. I could hear my own heartbeat as the seconds ticked by. It was as if each second spent was a second closer to being caught. The engine of the vehicle softly purred, ready to speed off at any given moment. The night was quiet besides the distant traffic, and the street appeared to be deserted.
“That’s a good sign,” I mumbled and checked the time. 2 minutes had already passed, which meant the crew had 3 minutes left to get out and jump into the vehicle.
I often thought about how my life would have turned out if I had been born into a wealthy family. Perhaps I would have been a famous race car driver like I always dreamed of. Maybe every Sunday, my family would host a lunch, and we would all sit around at a fancy table with broad smiles. I probably would have even been engaged by now or had a child or two running around.
That was all just a fantasy. The reality was that I was 28, a criminal and didn’t even know who my mother was. Oh, and not to mention, single as single can be. Not many women want to be with a poor man who lives his life in the fast lane.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
The alarm on my watch went off, which made my heart start racing. The crew should have been back by now. I looked back at the company entrance, but there was no sign of movement. I strained my hearing to focus, and the sound of a police siren could be heard ever so faintly.
“Shit! Where are they?” I muttered, worried. The company door flew open as if on cue, and 4 men carrying filled duffel bags ran out. The red and blue lights danced off the glass as the police sped towards us.
“Fuck!” I cursed and gripped the handbrake. The crew jumped into the back of the vehicle and threw the bags in.
“Uh, fucking hell!” Calvin groaned as he jumped in last. The police cars were about 5 metres behind us.
“Jason, fucking go!” Axel yelled, making me drop the handbrake and press down the accelerate. The vehicle sped off as the police chased after us. Banana Brain by Die Antwoord started playing as Axel turned on the radio.
“A fucking car chase! You better put those driving skills to use, ey, Jason?” JB laughed and smacked the back of my head. I clenched my teeth together and overtook another vehicle as the police sirens blared.
“What took so long?” I shouted as I quickly took a turn and switched gears.
“JB wanted to grab a bit more,” Wen replied, and from my review mirror, I saw him shake his head.
“Look at how much we grabbed! We gonna be rich!” JB yelled and shook the bag full of jewellery.
“Yeah, that’s true.” Wen nodded with a slight smile.
I noticed a bridge up ahead that stood above a cement floodway for the city. Since we were in the dry months, the canal would be empty and make the perfect getaway.
“Gents, I have an idea, but you aren’t going to like it,” I smirked and increased the acceleration. “Hold on!” I yelled as we drove onto the bridge. The police cars were so close behind us, and my heart was rapidly beating.
“You are going to crash!” Axel screamed as he noticed I was headed into the bridge railings.
“That’s the point.” I smiled and jerked the steering wheel to the left. The side of the vehicle rammed into the railings and flipped over the bridge.
As we flew threw the air, it felt like we were going in slow motion. The chain around my neck hung above my head as we were upside down. I watched as the crew tried to grab onto something to keep themselves down.
“I’m going to kill you!” Calvin screamed, and everything went back to normal. The wheels landed on the slope of the floodway. I quickly shifted the gears and clammed down on accelerate as we sped down the slope. My idea had worked. In the review mirror, I saw the police cars had stopped on the bridge and watched our getaway vehicle speed away.
“You fucking crazy, Jason!” JB laughed.
“We need somewhere to lay low until the heat dies down,” Wen announced, and the crew voiced their ideas.
“The rich bastard’s holiday homes are empty at this time. We can stash our car in their garage and stay over for the night.” Axel interrupted, which we agreed to.
“I’ll deactivate the alarm system if there is one,” Wen added with a nod.

As we drove into the rich neighbourhood, I noticed there weren’t any lights on. Axel was right. As we turned the corner, there was a fancy house with the gate wide open. Even the garage was left open, and no lights were on. Some rich bastard forgot to close up, which meant it was the perfect hideout.
I drove into the yard and parked in the garage.
“I’ll go close the gate, so no one suspects anything,” Calvin stated before running off. I switched off the engine and climbed out of the vehicle.
“Even the door to the house is open.” Wen chuckled as he turned the door handle and pushed it open. I shrugged my shoulders and checked the time. It was 3 in the morning. So either the person who owns this house was drunk when they left or just stupid.
“Rich folk.” JB shook his head and grabbed the duffel bags. Soon afterwards, Calvin returned, and we closed the garage door. From the outside, no one would notice a difference.
Let me break down the crew real quick. Wen is the brains of the operation and also our eldest member. He had been doing heists since college once his parents lost their jobs. Wen is an Asian with brown hair and wears a pair of glasses. He looks like an ordinary happy middle-aged man.
Then there’s Axel. His parents were Indian and African American, so he’s somewhere in between. Axel is excellent at strategizing, finding buyers for the things we steal and holding the crew together. I guess you could call him our leader.
Calvin is the muscle of the group. He trained in the army for a few years before they dismissed him for misconduct. Calvin got addicted to crystal meth, but now he’s been clean for 3 years. He believes the law turned its back on him when he needed help, so he joined the crew as a rebellion. He is a well built black man which long braids.
JB is well… JB. He’s my older brother and honestly doesn’t have the best mental state. He is an adrenaline junkie and acts without thinking about the consequences. I guess all crews need to have their crazy or wild animal. JB is short for Juan-Ben. He has a scruffy beard and ginger hair. We have different fathers… thank goodness.
Then there’s me. Jason Hinral. I’m the youngest of the crew and the getaway driver.
“Jason, you coming?” Axel called, which made me snap out of my thoughts. The rest of the crew had already walked into the house and waited for me to join them.
“Uh, yeah. Sorry.” I responded and pulled the pistol I had from the waistline of my jeans.
The crew and I decided to inspect the house to see if anyone was home. We walked into each room and quickly switched on the lights to ensure the room was empty. The place was well decorated, and probably a single ornament was worth more than my apartment. The couches had throw cushions, while the only pillow I had was on my bed back at home. Even the bar area was fully stocked.
The house was a double story, and we walked upstairs to inspect the bedrooms. The passage had a long fur rug, and the walls were covered in pictures… yet, there were no pictures of the owner of his/her family.
“Jason, check the main bedroom,” JB stated and nudged me as he walked past. I rolled my eyes and stayed quiet. JB always picked on me and acted like the annoying big brother. Once we were older, I thought he would grow up… but I guess not.
I opened the main bedroom door and felt around for the bedroom light. My eyes focused as the light turned on, and I froze.
Sitting on the bed with her back against the headboard, I laid eyes upon a woman. Her makeup was smudged like she had been crying. She had a simple diamond stud on her nose and deep brown eyes. My gaze travelled down, and I noticed she was naked. Her breasts were firm, and her dark pink nipples appeared pointy as the cold air made them stand up. Her hair was a light blue, almost like the colour of the sky and hung just above her breasts. The white silk bedding was gently over her legs and hid her lower areas from view.
The woman didn’t even try to cover herself up and stared at me as if I was the one naked before her. I quickly looked away and could feel my blood pumping to areas it shouldn’t go.
“Uh, gents. We have a situation.” I shouted for the crew to hear. The woman pulled up the sheet to cover herself as they ran over.
“What the fuck?!” Axel hissed and stared at the woman. She hadn’t said a word.
“Is anyone else home?” JB interrogated and raised his gun. The woman’s eyes grew wider and darted from me to my brother.
“Woah, JB!” I quickly said and shoved his gun down.
“We aren’t going to hurt you, miss,” Wen remarked, which made the woman relax a bit. “Is there anyone else home?” He calmly asked.
The woman slowly shook her head.
“Is this your house?” Calvin piped up.
“No,” The woman replied, which made us all stare at her. Her voice was firm and sweet. She pressed her lips together, which were a light pink, then opened her mouth to speak again. “This is my ex-boyfriend’s place. I just found out he cheated on me. So, please, take whatever you want. Take it all.”
“Who’s to say you won’t call the police?” Axel questioned.
“What if she already has?!” JB yelled and started to panic.
The woman smiled, which made me take a short inhale like I had just been struck. Her teeth were pearly white and her features lit when she smiled. I thought she looked breathtakingly beautiful.
“I haven’t, and I won’t. If you agree to my deal.” The woman offered.
“What do you want, miss?” Wen questioned after looking at us, confused.
“One of you.” She shrugged and dropped the silk sheet to reveal her stunning breasts. “I want one of you to sleep with me and make me forget all about my ex.”
We were all speechless as we stared at the woman.
“Excuse us for just a second.” Axel quickly responded and shoved us all out of the room. “What the fuck is going on?” He whispered and closed the door of the main bedroom.
“She’s fucking psycho!” JB softly grunted.
“I don’t understand. Why would she want to sleep with someone who just broke into the house she’s staying at?” I asked and ran my hand through my black hair.
I was decent looking, I guess. I had dark blue eyes that weren’t anything spectacular. They were like the colour of one of those dark blue wax crayons you used as a child. I had a scar on my right eyebrow that prevented hair from growing, so it looked like I had a permanent slit. My black hair was full of dandruff and in a mess like I had just woken up. I was about 6 foot 4 inches, which I hated because it made me stand out amongst average men.
“Like JB said, she’s crazy.” Calvin agreed, then added, “I say we get the hell out of here right now.”
I nodded, and we were about to walk off when Wen stopped us.
“Guys, wait. The police will be looking for our vehicle. We need to keep a low profile. What’s the worst that can happen? One of you gets to sleep with a pretty young lady.” Wen said and nudged his glasses up onto his nose.
“So you are suggesting we agree to the crazy lady’s deal?!” Axel exclaimed, and Wen nodded.
“Well, it’s not me. I have a wife at home. I might be a criminal, but I’m not a cheater.” JB declared, which surprised me.
“I agree. I’m staying loyal to my girlfriend.” Axel added.
“I’m not sleeping with some crazy white chick.” Calvin hissed.
“I don’t think she would want an old guy,” Wen said and shook his head.
The crew turned to look at me, and all 8 eyes stared my way. I started shaking my head and stepped back. I didn’t want to sleep with her. Reason one, she seems to be a bit loony. Two… did I have a reason two?
“Wait, no…” I started to say, but they grabbed onto me and shoved me into the main bedroom.
“Hey!” I shouted and quickly turned around to leave the room. I tried to push it open, but it was locked, or they barricaded the door to keep me in. JB had snatched my gun away from me.I gulped and turned around to look at the woman.“So, you’re the chosen guy?” The woman asked, and her voice made me want to walk closer to her. She offered me a seductive smile, and it felt like I was mesmerised by her beauty. My heart beat rapidly as she moved the silk sheet and revealed her legs.“Hi…” I stated, but my voice came out like more of a squeak. How embarrassing. The woman moved her legs to the edge of the bed ever so gracefully and stood up. Her naked body seemed to glow in the soft light of the main bedroom. My eyes couldn’t help but travel down her body. Her skin was a lovely bronzed white, and her stomach was toned. She had a sexy tattoo of a vine on her hip that made her appear even more attractive.I could see her bikini’s tan lines, which made my dick twitch in response. Settled in
Weeks had passed, and I hadn’t seen the woman since that early morning of the Van Kline Jeweller heist. She had been in my thoughts constantly and snuck her way into my dreams. I usually found myself waking up with my body covered in sweat and a rock-hard boner. I tried to stop thinking about her, but it didn’t work.I was mesmerised by her beauty. Crazed by her taste. Longing to hear her voice. Captivated by her smell and possessed by her touch.“Jason... baby.” The woman called and walked over to me. She was naked like the way I first met her, and her light blue hair softly blew in the wind.“I miss you.” She stated and was instantly in front of me.“Help me find you. Please.” I begged as she climbed on top of me and bent down to place her lips against mine.Honk. Honk. The sound of a car hooting snapped me out of the daydream. I looked back at the art gallery I was parked outside and stared at the crowds of people as they walked past. At this point, it was a habit to always look fo
Vixen sat on my lap with her legs on either side of my body. Her pussy pressed against my dick, and she slowly moved her hips to grind against me. Candy Shop by 50 Cent was next on the playlist. Her body moved to the beat as she twerked on my lap.“How does that feel, baby?” Vixen whispered into my ear, which sent chills up my arms.“Anything you do feels so good,” I mumbled and gripped the sides of the chairs to keep my hands from touching her. She was making it extremely difficult.Vixen placed a soft kiss on the side of my mouth and then shoved my face into her boobs. She giggled as I kissed her smooth skin and softly bit onto one of her nipples. I pulled away before a bouncer suspected anything, and Vixen moved her soft lips to my neck. She sucked and nibbled onto my neck as her hips grinded against me simultaneously. She felt so good close to me and moaned into my ear. I could feel myself starting to lose control, and sensations ran up my shaft. I groaned as I cummed in my underw
“What’s up? It looks like you have seen a ghost.” Kedwyn stated and placed the roses in a jar of water in front of me. I quickly shoved the pamphlet into my pocket and shrugged. “The price of jewellery is crazy,” I stated, and Kedwyn chuckled. Kiara probably wouldn’t appreciate it if I told the people she worked with that she was a CEO of a multimillion company. Plus, she would have told them herself if she wanted them to know. I wondered if Kiara kept that side of her life a secret. It also made sense how she knew many wealthy people that were members of her club. Maybe she led a double life. I couldn’t imagine that many people would be happy if the CEO of Van Kline Jewellers also owned a strip club and danced at that club. Many wealthy women would hate the company since their husbands are secretively part of the club. “I can imagine. I’m honestly good with buying a fake silver chain and wearing it until the paint wears off.” Kedwyn added, and I nodded. My head was spinning. How w
“I, uh, haven’t figured it out yet.” I honestly replied, which made her laugh. “Fine. Take me to your favourite place in Joburg. I’m willing to get to know you better as well.” Kiara stated and stood up. She picked her purse up from the glass table and redid her scarf around her neck. She looked back at me with a flick of her hair and smiled. “You coming?” “Oh, uh, yeah.” I stuttered and quickly jumped to my feet. Kiara walked off, and I followed behind her. I tried to hide the excitement that she wanted to get to know me better and refrained from happily cheering. A voluminous smile spread onto my face as I quickly looked at Kedwyn as we walked past. He gave me a thumbs up and chuckled to himself. “We’ll take my car,” Kiara remarked as we walked out of the grocery store. She interlocked her fingers in mine and pulled me towards a blue 1967 Camaro SS Convertible. This car was a stunning Chevrolet with a rectangular shaped frame. It only had two doors, so the backseat passengers had
The cabin had a single bedroom with a metal frame bed but no mattress. There was an old painting of what the cabin originally looked like when it was first built. The room also had an ancient chest of drawers which had a hole on the side and was missing the drawers handles. The bathroom was a metal bath with a toilet. A cracked mirror hung against the wall, and I remembered JB broke my accident when he shot me with his slingshot. The cabin used to have running water, but now the pipes were dry. The lounge/dining area and kitchen were all one room. There was a small wooden table with a broken chair. Then another painting of a car that I hung up. JB also painted a tree on the wall, which was pretty well done. The kitchen had a few cabinets with an odd plate or cup in them. There wasn’t much, but the cabin was like a dream home for two young boys. While we were in the lounge area, I removed a loose floorboard. This was our secret stash spot in case someone broke into the cabin. There w
Kiara and I spent the night getting to know each other more by talking. I learnt things such as her favourite colour (which is red) and if she studied at university (the answer was yes). Kiara went to the University of Pretoria, aka Tukkies. She studied business management and told me stories of how she went to tons of parties. Kiara messed around on a pole at a club one night, then decided to join pole dancing classes. After that, she perfected the art and now can move in ways I’ve never seen before. She told me how her Dad always called her his angel, which is why she acts as the perfect daughter for his sake. I asked her if she ever wished her Dad could know the real her, but Kiara said she prefers to keep her life separate. She feels freer that way. I just sat there and listened when Kiara spoke. I could listen to her for days upon end. Her voice was beautiful, and she sounded so happy when she spoke about her Dad. They were really close, and she loved him with all her heart. Kia
I offered him a small smile while I shook his hand. Mr Van Kline had dark brown hair that was riddled with grey strands. He had a neatly trimmed grey beard and stern eyes that shouted ‘business’. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr Van Kline.” I gulped and could feel Kiara staring into my skull. “I heard whispers that your grandmother will leave her company in your name. Is it true that she is thinking of finally retiring?” Mr Van Kline asked. “We all know how stubborn my grandmother can be.” I awkwardly chuckled and hoped I was right. Mr Van Kline nodded with a small smile. “I know it’s time that she retires, but I think she’ll work for as long as possible,” I added. It was scary how easily lying came to me. “Uh, yes, that is true. I hope to see you around more often. It appears my daughter has kept you hidden.” He stated and looked at Kiara. “Sorry, Daddy. Mr Porter here claimed to not enjoy such functions,” Kiara replied and looked to stare at me. I felt a drop of sweat on my fore
