Chapter 27

I froze. Olivia was attracted to me? How didn’t I notice? I honestly thought she was just being friendly. Don’t we behave as normal friends do?

“You are?” I asked and I could hear the surprise in my own voice.

“Yeah, you’re so sweet and handsome. I had a crush on you since the first day.” Olivia smiled then continued, “When I found out about you and Kiara I was so jealous.”

“Olivia, I’m sorry, I had no idea.”

“Why are you sorry? You have a girlfriend that you love. I can’t be sad because you’re happy.”

I also turned onto my side to face her and moved the hair out of her face. She had helped me with Kiara and been a good friend all while I didn’t even notice she was in pain. Maybe I felt like I wanted her for a reason… maybe my earlier thought about wanting to be with her was real. Fuck, what was going on with me?

“I don’t want you to hurt. You’re a gorgeous woman and anyone man would love to be called yours.” I smiled and touched the side of her face.

“But not you.” She sadly laughed
