Chapter 64: The final sweetness

The days passed in boredom. When dusk fell, the sun gradually sunk behind the sea. Emma sat next to the window observing this poetic scene but her heart did not feel peaceful at all.

For the past three days, Harry locked her in this place and disappeared without a trace of him. Every meal, the steward would bring her food and then retreat. This villa was as quiet as its owner, with absolutely no conversation between people.

Suddenly, the bright headlights of the Rolls Royce shined straight into the large gate of the villa, attracting Emma.

He had finally returned.

Harry strode into the main hall, took off his coat, threw it to the steward, and tiredly rubbed his temples, "Where is Emma?"

“Madam's always in her room.” The steward honestly reported.

He frowned, reached out to loosen his tie, "Didn't she leave the room or go to the flower garden for a walk?"
