Chapter 70: Moving

“Charlie, hold… hold my hand.” Emma trembled and reached out to her son.

The fire spread more and more, forming a circle surrounding Harry and Charlie. Most of the neighbors next door had escaped, only a few men were carrying water buckets to put out the fire.

“Hurry up, go out with your mother.”

Harry felt a burning sensation on his back and then was pressed flat to the ground by the bookshelf. He put his soaked vest on Charlie and pushed him forward.

Charlie used Harry's coat to help him put out the fire burning the bookshelf. He hesitated a bit, "Uncle Harry... I don't want to leave you behind..."

"Hurry up! Your mother is waiting!”

Emma impatiently wanted to run inside but was constantly stopped by people around her. She shouted, "Why haven't the firefighters arrived yet?"

Harry's eyes focused on the burned kitchen. If they continued to stay near this apartment, there was no telling when the gas stove would explode.
