"Wow, Mrs. Evans is really stunning!" the designer flattered. "All dresses look more radiant on your body."
Gabriella raised the corners of her lips a bit. The dress with crystal beads was the tenth dress she had tried on.
"So, has my fiancee found her dress yet?" Max asked suddenly before sitting on the sofa.
Without waiting for orders, the butler approached her master.
"Aren't you planning on leaving this afternoon, Sir?" Minnie asked in a low voice.
"My business is done. Now, I want to check on my fiancee's preparation,” he said, smiling at Gabriella. The girl who glanced at him suddenly looked away.
"Of all the dresses that have been tried, your lover is most suitable to wear this dress, Sir," the designer explained as he pulled Gabriella to the front of the man.
"Is it true? Turn around!”
After a moment of hesitation, the girl finally turned around with her head down.
"Not so bad," Max commented, crossing h
"Where?" Max asked making the girl in front of him even more desperate. Gabriella's lips began to tremble as she waited for the word. However, three seconds later, the central nervous system still hadn't sent a response. The look in Max's eyes had frozen her mind. "Come on, show me!" the man challenged as he brought Gabriella's fingers closer to his cheek. Spontaneously, the girl pulled her hand and held it in her lap. With a downcast face, she hid her nervousness. "Why? You can't show it, hm? Doesn't that mean you did eavesdrop on our conversation?" the man implied with both hands fortifying the chair. "I didn't overhear," Gabriella said, still not wanting to admit her mistake. She didn't realize that Max had raised the corners of his lips. "Apparently, you don't love your doll anymore, huh?" The girl's eyes widened. The image of Max "killing" Snowy had crossed her mind. "Okay, I admit it. I did ... eavesdrop on your c
Gabriella never imagined that she would marry a rich and handsome man. All her life, she only knew the piano and sheet music. Not for a second the girl thought about love. That's why she was pensively staring at the diamond ring on her ring finger. “I really got married?” She couldn't believe it. A second later, the woman swallowed hard, moistening her parched throat. "Gabriella?" The woman slowly raised her head, facing the handsome face that called out to her. "And this man is my husband?" The bride took a deep breath, freeing her chest from tightness. "Is my decision right?" “Gabriella,” Max called one more time, giving a small tug to the fingers he was holding. The woman finally blinked. "Yes?" The man gave a signal with a glance. Gabriella followed the direction of his gaze which ended at a ring in the small box. "Ah, sorry," the woman sighed as she took the shiny object. A second later, her trembling fingers began
Gabriella could sense Max was approaching. The closer they were, the tighter she clenched fists. Her cheeks were blushing like a tomato. Just before the man bit her lips, a knock on the door caught their attention. Gabriella could hear a small snort from her front. Only then could she breathe again and open her eyes. "Yes?" Max stared at the door with an eyebrow raised in displeasure. "Sorry, Sir. Your secretary is waiting at the guard post. He insists on coming in to see Master," a servant reported from behind the door. "Just tell him that I'm enforcing protocol five!" "He's still insistent, Sir." A quick gasp was immediately heard. “Please tell him to contact me by phone!” After giving the order, Max grabbed the phone and activated it. Knowing her husband's annoyance, Gabriella did not dare to move. Every now and then, he checked Max's expression out of the corner of her eyes. "Can I go now?" she asked carefully.
"Look, who touched first?" Max teased, raising an eyebrow. Annoyed, Gabriella threw her husband's hand away. "I want to sleep!"Roughly, the woman threw herself on the bed and then laid with her back to her husband. A few seconds later, she changed position to her back, then turn to the right. But, wherever she faced, her eyes still wouldn't close. "Why? You can't sleep because of thinking about me?" Max teased with a crooked smile. Gabriella chuckled in annoyance and then threw her husband with the teddy. "Stop bothering me!" “Wow! So, you don't love Snowy anymore? Good." Max hugged the teddy bear and returned his focus to the phone. Looking at her husband's behavior, Gabriella was provoked to sit down. “Hey, give my Snowy back!” “This isn't yours anymore. You already gave it to me," Max said casually. Without further ado, the woman slipped her hand between the girth of the stout arms. “Give it bac
“That man is very talkative. He doesn't even mind to comment on my lipstick," Gabriella grumbled before applying red dye on her lips. After a moment, her eyes flickered flat."Is it too thick?" the woman muttered as she took a closer look in the mirror.A second later, the woman pulled out a sheet of tissue and wiped off her lipstick.“No, this is too faded.”After a few minutes, Gabriella finally got the color right. A satisfied smile appeared on her face."Do you think you are beautiful?" a woman who had just entered the door asked. "Are you happy that you take Max away from me?"Gabriella suddenly turned around and furrowed her brows. "Amber?"With her arms folded in front of the chest, the haughty lady walked over."Where did you get this?" she asked, noticing the authenticity of the lipstick that had just taken from Gabriella's hand."Max gave it to me," the honest woman replied in a stiff t
Wasting no time, Max hurried through room after room. His heart beat faster every time he found an empty space. Only when he arrived at the only door that locked from the outside did his breath stop rumbling."Gabriella?"There was no answer. A bad hunch instantly made nerves tense up. With a pounding heart, the man unlocked and pushed the door. Two seconds later, a naked woman had stung his heart. With mouth agape without a word and eyes quivering violently, he watched Gabriella's face turn red.The silence broke when the woman blinked."What happened?" Max asked as he removed the suit from his body. Then, the man wrapped his wife's body so it wasn't exposed to the air."Why don't you come earlier? Do you expect me to freeze to death here?” Gabriella said in a trembling voice full of rage.Hearing the fierce response, Max was wide-eyed and examined his wife's face. "Are you okay?" he asked in disbelief.Befo
Five seconds passed, the man still standing with his gaze fixed on the floor. He could feel the effects of the stimulants running through his body, leaving a trail of immense heat and energy behind. “What are you waiting for, Max? Should the woman move first?” Amber asked with a smirk. A moment later, the man took out his cell phone from the pocket and started typing a message. The impatient lady's eyebrows furrowed in displeasure. "Are you asking for help?" “I sent order to my driver to wait a little longer.” Amber's eyes immediately widened in disbelief, moreover, when the man she approached her and placed the cellphone on the table beside the bed. "So you've changed your mind, haven't you?" the lady asked with heart full of happiness. Without thinking, the man nodded and gave an intimidating look. "This is what you want, isn't it?" His hands began to unfasten the belt, making Amber's heart began to jump for joy.
After a few minutes, Gabriella's eyelids were almost closed tightly. It was a very quiet night for her. No Max, no coercion. There was only Snowy and the soft bed underneath. Unexpectedly, the door opened wide. The woman became conscious in an instant. "Max?" she sighed before swallowing hard. Her eyes quivered to compensate for her sudden rapid heartbeat. "You didn't open the door for me on purpose, huh?" the man asked, carelessly taking off his shirt. The look in his sharp eyes and the roar of his breath made Gabriella more shrunken. “I had no idea you were coming,” Gabriella replied with furrowed brows and bowed head. Her hand was holding Snowy tighter. "So you fell asleep while your husband was waiting at the door?" Gabriella's lips trembled wordlessly. The courage she had cultivated earlier had withered, moreover, when Max slammed his trousers on the floor. "You should have waited so I wouldn't have to bang on the door!"
