As soon as he heard the sound of a car, Jack rushed out of the stall and closed the door. While cleaning the dirt stuck to his clothes, the man stepped towards the guests he had been waiting for.
“Welcome to our stable, Evans Family!” he exclaimed, spreading his arms and putting on a friendly face.
While Julian and Max were unloading things from the car trunk, the women walked first to the welcomer, along with their children.
“Hello, Uncle Jack. Nice to meet you again," Mia said in a low voice. The baby in her arms was still asleep.
"Hello, Mia. How are you? Long time no see makes you fail to remember the right call to me, huh?”
Receiving such a reply, the woman suddenly gasped and let out a faint laugh. "Sorry, Jack."
“Well, that's the right one! Just Jack. It's not only Greta who wants to forget her age," the burly man whispered before chuckling and turning to Gabriella. "Welcome to our small farm, Mrs. Evans."
