"Why didn't you bring Lena here?" Julian asked while turning to the woman walking beside him.

In an instant, Mia stopped noticing the composition of yellow and white roses in her hand. Lifting the corners of her lips, she returned the man's shady gaze.

“I want to keep our privacy. Without Lena, we can talk more freely and convey anything to Dad,” the woman answered, successfully engendering a sense of pride in her husband's heart.

"You are a very understanding wife, Mia," Julian flattered, rubbing the pregnant woman's back.

While spreading a smile, Mia wrapped an arm around the man's waist and rested her head for a moment on the broad shoulder. "I know you'll be embarrassed if Lena sees your tears."
