Raziel's POV

I could act like it was okay, but I can't.

Seeing her walk into the room where the man she once loved was, there was no reason for me to be fine.

All my life, I have done everything to be confident in the things I do. In school, business, even with women. But now I'm like a child afraid of being robbed of something, something important.

"So, you like her?" Jamie sat down next to me, handing over the steaming instant coffee. "coming here with her, even though you know what she's going to do... Aren't you being too heroic?"

I accepted the coffee and sipped on it, "if you can control him, she does not need to go inside of that room." I reply to her so emotionless, as if I don’t want any conversation between us, "so, don't talk nonsense to me."

"Nonsense? Do you think I will let her go there if I have a choice?” She asked irritated, "Jake is one important person in my life, as long as he is fine then I can do anything."
