Chapter Fifty-Three

After their little meeting, they all went their separate ways making sure they weren't being followed.

Scarlett and Natalie were so exhausted that they didn't bother having dinner and straight away went to bed.

Despite being tired, Scar couldn't sleep. It was like she was having insomnia, she took some pills, tried counting sheep but nothing.

She couldn't help but think about what Harper would do to her if she knew that she and Sebastian hadn't really broken up. Would she kill her just to be with him? The woman was crazy and she just couldn't wait for the trial day.

Just then her phone rang, she checked the caller ID and it was Seb, instantly she picked it up.

"Hello." She said,

"Hey, how are you holding up?" For some reason, he knew she'd be overthinking and wouldn't sleep so he decided to check up on her.

"Alright, I guess,” She quietly said and let out a heavy sigh, "I'm just scared, I can't wait for the trial to happen soon. It scares me to think about what Harper could do
