Chapter Twenty-One

Scar returned to work that afternoon with an enormous smile on her face, she could finally show Sebastian that she was a capable woman and deserved that job.

Nothing was going to ruin her mood today, she was damn sure of that. When she reached AV, she immediately went to see him— Seb— with the good news.

When she reached his door, she knocked and waited for his approval. "Come in, " His voice rang from inside, she opened the door and entered his office.

Seb glanced up and he saw her approaching him. For some weird reason, he was filled with warmth and his mood instantly improved.
