Jefferson's POV I am very possessive of Celina and seeing the photo on my phone makes me out of my mind. I don't know who the man is and even if I trusted my wife, I can't help but feel jealous. The guy was handsome and he looked like he came from a good family. I wonder who he was that he was with Celina when she told me that she would be having a late lunch with Dennis, Mr. Sunji and his son. Thinking about it, is he Mr. Sunji's son? Why is he holding Celina's hand? Was it a coincidence that the photographer took advantage of? It was clear that she was being watched, but by whom? Although I was still furious that she had been held by another man, I was worried at the same time. After I cleaned up everything, I went out of my office to get Celina into her office. "I'm sorry Sir," Bree said when she bumped into me. I was already in a bad mood and here she was adding to my anger. How can she recklessly bury her face in my chest? I pushed her a little as I held her on both her should
Celina's POV How am I going to let Jefferson go when I only want him in my life? He was the only man that I wanted to try anything with, no matter how much I disliked it. I was worried that he would make me bend over and take me in my a** because I felt like a wh*** if he ever did that with me. But I love him so much that I wanted to please him in any way I could and fu****g me in my behind was something I am willing to try and do for him. I was glad that he respected me and would want my permission first before he would ever do that. I like that about him, always thinking of me and not just himself. He is not like any other man I know who would let a woman lie and take them any way they wanted without consulting or asking their partner. That day that he showed my photo with Lloyd was disturbing because it was definitely a threat to our relationship. Whoever he or she was that was following me must have wanted me or Jefferson for themselves. I don't know about Jefferson, but I didn'
Celina's POV How come he's here? He left his office and came here instead? "You look like you can't believe that I am here." Jefferson said as he got out of his car. "Mr. Scott," Dennis greeted him and he only gave him a nod and looked back at me after. "What? You didn't want to see me here?" he asked, "Of course not!" I exclaimed, "I was just wondering why you are here. Don't you have work to do?" "How can I let you go home alone from here?" "So you came here just to fetch me?" "What else?" "You didn't need to bother yourself with this. I am with Dennis and I am sure that he is not going to leave me here alone." I replied, "I know that, but I wanted to do that for you," he said, and kissed me. Oh my gosh, I'm smelly and he was making me feel conscious of my appearance right now. I pushed him lightly, which made him crease his forehead. I don't care about others seeing me in my gross appearance, but not with him. He worshiped me and my body and after seeing me and smelling m
Jefferson's POV "Daria, what happened?" I asked. I was furious because of the issues at the bank. I never thought that I was going to face a problem such as this. JS Bank is the number one bank in the country. The clients were either a JS Bank or a non-JS Bank. It's just either of the two. Now our clients are declining. I ignored it in the first month because I knew how the economy was. But the decline in three consecutive months is unacceptable. There must be something going on to make this happen. We have the best service among other banks and I know that first hand. We have bank accounts in competitor banks, so I know. I made sure to be updated with all their services so we wouldn't be late just in case they think of something really good. "I already asked every branch to make a detailed report on the issues that may cause this and they will be submitting it at the end of the day." she replied, but that doesn't answer my question. I'm pretty sure that the board will probably cal
Third Person's POV Celina had been worried about Jefferson after she found out about the problem with the company he was facing. Although she knew that everything on the social media had been manipulated by someone, that scared her even more. She couldn't think of anyone who would do that to the company because, as far as she knew, Scott Group was the number one company in the country, not just for its services, but also for the fair treatment of its employees. The company compensated its employees more than others, competitors or not. When she was working there, she saw how much their employees valued the company and she knew that it was because the company treated them well. If not, they would have been on the street fighting for their rights. Most of what she heard were all praise and gratefulness that the company had helped them in so many ways. "Got some problems?" Dennis asked. She didn't notice that he was already in front of her. "No, not much." "You're in deep thoughts a
Celina's POV "Dennis, I think I will have to leave. I need to go and see Jefferson. Will you be alright here?" I asked. "Everything is fine and we have no urgent meetings whatsoever. You can leave for today." he replied, so I smiled at him, nodding my head. The issue with Jefferson's company is bothering me so much that I cannot focus on my work. I was just glad that I didn't have any projects going on at the moment. Leslie was good and I trusted her when it comes to the company, not with personal things though. She was still angry at me and didn't agree with the fact that I was the head architect of the country club project. My office was just a walking distance from Jefferson's and I took that opportunity to think and find a solution for him as well. I am not used to my husband forgetting about calling me. Don't get me wrong. I do understand that he has his work, but being unable to call me only means that he had a serious problem and that is what made me worried. Jefferson is ve
Jefferson's POV I already see it coming so I get myself ready and prepared. I looked at Celina and smiled, "Nothing for you to worry about," I said, confidently. I didn't want her to worry or think about my problems here, just like what Noris had said, she deserved to be at ease and just enjoy herself. "Since you're already here, you should attend the meeting as well." I added and she nodded while getting up from the couch she was sitting on. "Will Noris be there as well?" she asked, "I was just thinking about if he was going to be there. At least there are three of us that will ensure those old hags that we will be able to take care of everything, right?" "Noris never attended a meeting like this. If he did now, then that's something new," I replied. It was true though, he never came to the board meeting, even once when we were trying to solve an issue or if there was something I needed to affect the board with company issues. He is not the type to confront me either, so coming to
Jefferson's POV I want to laugh at what the faces of the board looked like after Celina told them what she wanted to say. She must have been gaining courage because I was there. The meeting ended with a stupefied look on everyone's faces. Even Noris was surprised. Speaking of him, does he really think that he will be able to do what I can do for the company? Is he out of his mind or was he waiting for this to happen? Noris never asked dad for anything or about the company. Well, he wasn't deprived of his rights and, as much as possible, dad wanted to give him everything he needed. I don't see any reason for him to actually act greedy, as though he was the rightful owner of the company. It was my mother who was with our dad when he grew up the company. Together, they built it until it was strong and big. His mother, on the other hand, chose her family and married someone else. Celina handled the bank for 3 years and I was proud of her. Daria played an important part because she rel
