Episode 37

Chosan's POV

Laying on the bed with my eyes shut, I sobbed hard. The words my father passed on got stuck in my head and it was hard to let go. Central pack castle was the worst place to be; maybe because I'm the Chosan, that made it that extreme. Each time my mind switched to what I had to endure in that little space of time, that shivered me down.

"Please speak with Daddy, Mommy. Don't take me there anymore. I don't like being the Chosan. They punish me too much."

My mother lifted her head from my lower region where she was doing her regular checkup she was used to, and rubbed her palms against my folded knees.

"Believe us when we say we know the pain our baby feels right now." She sat at the foot of the bed and looked at me pitifully. "If someone asks now, we would keep you here with us and not even let you go to your mate. But that is just our illusion, not what our supreme couple wants from us."
