Thorien's POV

As the witch spoke, my eyes met Chosan whose head was down and was busy wiping tears off her eyes even though the tears kept pouring. Then I shifted my gaze to the parents, they seemed lost too. Who wouldn't be after being struck by such a thing. Initially, they were downcast because the daughter they thought was theirs alone was destined to be sacrificed for the lands. As if that wasn't enough torment on their part, they were hit by something bigger.

When I first got the news of her being pregnant with my pup I was overjoyed, not until my mind reminded me that she isn't just anyone but the Chosan, and there was no escaping that fact. But now that she's said to be the daughter of Wolland, what then would be her faith?
