Chapter 113 : Power of Demonic Magic

Cole finally got back to his feet, but his eyes were still on the floor. No one said anything, but we all watched him. Out of the blue, one of the plants beside him caught fire, making us all jump in surprise.

"Sorry," Cole said as he turned to the table and put his palm down before the fire was completely put out.

"It's okay," Jesse said, and he sat down across from him.

"So," I started, "the best way to remove these runes is to kill Silas?"

"That makes sense," Jesse said.

"That means we have to find him," Taylor chimed in.

We all paused in our pondering, trying to decide on the best next step. But suddenly, I noticed that the three guys seemed to stiffen, and I glanced at them.
