CHAPTER 20. I NEED THIS PROMISE

The woman turned pale when she saw Goldman's CEO himself standing in front of her, demanding action against the cleaning woman.

"Excuse me, sir," she stammered, barely containing her nerves. "It was an accident; I was just reaching for the trash can and I dropped it."

"Do you take me for an idiot?" he inquired indignantly. "I saw enough to know what happened, first you tripped her on the wet floor, then you threw a glass of water at her and claimed it was an accident, and when you saw that she didn't flinch at your behavior, it annoyed you and you ended up emptying the basket."

The woman pretended to defend herself, but Christian was so angry he wouldn't let her.

"Pick up your things and you have exactly," he looked at the watch on his wrist. "Three minutes, not one more, not one less, to leave this building, otherwise you will have to suffer the consequences, and I assure you that with me they will not be pleasant, because if he hasn't deduced them yet, you are fired!"
