Narrator’s POV— (Continuation of Emily’s narration)
The man drove for another hour and reached an abandoned house in middle of nowhere! It was a place in between two towns. The car stopped in front of the house and the man got down the car. He walked around and opened the passenger door. He gently touched the girl’s forehead and caressed her hair.
“Hey! Can you walk?” he whispered but the girl only stirred in her sleep but didn’t open her eyes! She was having quite high temperature.
The man took a deep breath and lifted the girl in his arms in bridal style and walked towards the door. He knocked on the door and within a few seconds the door was opened by an old lady.
