Narrator’s POV—
In the Ford Mansion, Mr Jason Ford has returned early because he has received a call from his old friend and business associate Mr Harrison Walker! Though the Fords were the richest in the country but the Walkers were a very old and famous family of Odessa and they had a close relationship with the Fords! Millions of business transactions happen in between the Fords and the Walkers and also because of their popularity, Mr Harrison Walker was a very important person on whom Mr Jason was depending a lot! The Walkers support was almost indispensable for Jason to not only win the election and become the Mayor, but he needed their support to remain in the position!
When Harrison Walker called Jason Ford and informed him that he was coming in the evening along with his daughter Elise, to meet Jason Ford, Jason left all his works and returned home early to receive the Walkers.
