Chapter 30

Derrick quickly prepared a bathtub full of water and many ice blocks in the water. Evan was placed inside the water to enable him to cool down, but he kept groaning, it was as if the more he was deep inside the water the more the pain increased.

"Evan! Evan calms down, control yourself, Don't be a weak wolf!" Derrick yelled, it was a feeling of anger, sadness, and insecurities, he couldn't help his son, all he could do was watch him in pain

"Nothing is going to happen to him, Kate isn't herself too, look how she is suffering herself just because she feels she is unworthy of Evan" Gerrard consoled him. Derrick look at Kate, she was Pale, she looked like one who could pass out just by a touch, "but why is she making things hard for her"

"I don't know what to do," Derrick said sadly

"Vella, Take Kate to her room, make her calm down," Gerrard said to Kate

"We should leave him here, he doesn't need noise now," Gerrard said to the rest.
