132: Lovely Dinner

Cora’s POV

My eyes were probably engorged from how I was staring at the lovely setup before me, but I don’t care, I’d rather stare at it all day.

Kai had somehow pulled together a little dining date under the largest tree I’d ever set eyes on, the tree had vines with different beautiful flowers lined around the bark, there were several tiny lightbulbs hanging from it that I believed were meant to light up everywhere when it got dark.

There was a little round table craved from the finest wood and as if that wasn’t good enough, there were hand painted flowers on the table that matched the ones running around the tree. The chairs at both sides of the table also matched the designs on the table, and then the path that led to it was lined with flowers as well.

“If we stand here staring at the setup all day, we’ll never get to watch the sunset” I heard pride rumble in his deep voice as he linked my arm with his and started to walk us toward the table.
