Once again, a host of people had been privy to my nakedness against my will and there was nothing I could do about it. However, as humiliating as it was, there were other things on my mind other than how I’d face everyone once I was released.

Like why was I locked up in the first place?

Several thoughts were crawling through my mind as to why I’d been dumped in a stuffy dark cell, but even worse was the fact that there were insects crawling on my naked body and it was pitch black so I couldn't see them.

I’d been thrown into the cell in the morning and evening was nearing but Kai hadn't returned to tell me my offense. I knew I’d poisoned him but I’d made sure that there was no way he could track it back to me and the only other person that knew was Nina and she’d never betray me, so it had to be something else, but what?
