54. Baby's face

I had thought of escaping before, but knowing I was being followed by four guards, I couldn't escape, so I gave up on my escape plan, which made me extremely mad at Mikel.

It had been six months since I had been captured, and in three months, I would give birth to a dragon baby, as I calculated it in the normal human way of childbirth.

I frowned as I finally stepped down from my bed and went to the bathroom to bathe. Molly was through preparing my bath, so I walked carefully into the hot water tub and sat in it, while Molly helped wash my hands and feet as she bathed me.

As a dragon slayer, I couldn't bathe myself. I allowed Molly to do all the bathing alone while I sat lazily in the bathtub.
