An uninvited visitor

Nik's pov

The evening sun painted a vivid red stripe on the horizon and left it glowing with orange light.

A cool breeze whipped Noya's loose strands of hair around my face. I inhaled her scent before alighting from the horse.

My heart was filled with joy as I helped Noya alight from the horse.

"Welcome Alpha Nik." Erik was out to help us with the horse.

"Thank you, Erik." I said.

We strode into the Packhouse hand in hand. I never knew loving her would come so easy. It wasn't without its challenges but we would wade through them easily.
