Noya's pov

Shutting the door after me, I inhaled breaths to prevent the tears that formed in my eyes. I wiped them away and strode into our closet. My heart clenched in jealousy as I opened a drawer to retrieve a cashmere coat.

I took it to my nostrils and inhaled it. A weary smile formed on my lips as I returned it. I had been knitting it for two weeks now and had planned to give it to him immediately after we got back from the picnic.

He had done so much for me and I had done nothing in return but even now it didn't seem like the best idea to gift him this, especially with the female blonde who clung to him like a lifeline.

Calm down, Noya. Don't make assumptions.

Why did she have to ruin such a beautiful day for us? Who was she? Different questions swam through my mind like a sizzling current and I had answers to none of them.

I changed into my nightgown and traipsed to our bed. Pulling the quilt over me, I lay back in bed. I pushed the questions away and closed my eyes, beckoning
