Chapter 94: Leader

Sam's eyes turned black with fury, and he snapped his head up.

We were surrounded by wrath demons, forming a protective circle with their backs to us, shielding us from the attacking dark ones. However, one of the dark ones had managed to slip an arm through, and its nails had cut into my side. The wrath demon who was closest to him, grabbed his arm and yanked him back like a rag doll.

Reacting swiftly, Sam put his arm around me and grabbed the wrist of the snarling dark one. The demon looked over his shoulder at Sam and almost let go of the other arm. "Hold on." Sam ordered, stopping the demon. "Go on. Pull." He added, his gaze like steel

The demon instantly smirked at his king. He pulled on the arm of the dark one, and Sam pulled on the other arm.

The dark one snarled wildly with his head looking from side to side and bared his teeth in anger. My body was flat against Sam and his arm around me held me close against him.
