I stumbled in my dancing and was thankful for the demon king behind me to prevent my fall."It's what?" I whispered anxiously. The world around me blurred, the orange light of the surrounding fires flashing like alarm lights."It's full moon in a few hours." Lucifer answered my question, completely oblivious to my inner panic. He brought the shot to my lips, and I automatically opened them in a daze."Get your fucking hands of her, fucking asshole."The body of Lucifer suddenly disappeared from behind me, and cold air replaced him. I turned around to see Sam gripping Lucifer's shirt by the neck. The tequila glass had fallen and shattered on the floor."Brothe-""Don't fucking 'brother' me." Sam snapped at Lucifer, yanking him forcefully. Lucifer struggled to breathe and tapped his brother's shoulder mockingly."Come on, nothing is-""Shut the fuck up. You're out of here. Consider yourself banished from now on." Sam snarled, his grip unrelenting. The group of demons parted so Sam could
I walked out of the castle with a swimming head. Everything around me twirled and danced, and my lungs had no air left. As soon as I was outside, I took a deep breath of cold, fresh air and walked in a random direction. The castle seemed to scream at me to return. The hairs on the back of my neck raised when I left the grass around the castle. I kept on walking, my heels digging into the gravel with a loud crunch. I stopped on my tracks when the willow tree appeared in front of me. I hadn't even realised I walked through the maze. There was a slight fog in the courtyard, and the grass was already slightly wet with dew. One of the branches of the tree swayed in the wind, calling me towards it. I sat down with a heavy sigh. The churning of my stomach almost stopped, but I knew I had to eat something. And probably drink a glass of water. I was definitely drunk. A snapping sound behind me made me flinch. I turned around, fast as lightening, but a hand around my neck held me back. I g
It was silent. An ear-deafening silence."What?" Sam asked with a silent whisper."That's why he chose full moon - so he can get me pregnant." I explained in an anxious voice. Fear settled in my bones when I felt the air of fury around me. "He wants you to bear a child for him? He wants to impregnate you?" Sam stalked closer to me, and I would've stepped back, if my knees weren't already touching the bench, preventing any escape. I kept my eyes down on the ground, and saw his figure appearing in front of me. "And you agreed to this?" He asked sharply.I looked up at him, at his full black eyes. Sam seemed bigger, more dangerous."I didn't have a choice. It was this or return to the dark ones. They would've raped us, Sam. And I had to think about my pregnant best friend. I was responsible for her, as well." I replied in a strong voice."That's such a human answer. You should have thought about yourself, for fucks sake, Fay. This is not happening. You should've never agreed to this." Sa
I moaned as my head fell back against the rough bark of the willow tree. Stars danced before my eyes, and I could feel Sam's intense gaze upon me. His fingers dug into my skin as he took a deep, longing breath.I felt his face coming closer to mine."He wants you like this." Sam whispered softly. I opened my eyes immediately, meeting his half-green, half-black gaze. "He wants what I have." He whispered next, his eyes fully focused on mine "He wants the only thing I have ever truly wanted in this life. The one thing I would sacrifice everything for. The only one I will die for."My eyes were wide, and I stayed still as I gazed at him. I felt his words etching my heart. They felt like they came from the depths of his soul, and he whispered them like he wouldn't ever utter them out loud, but he had no choice but to now.His hand remained on my waist, and he tightened his arm around me, as if he could push me into his body for safety. His eyes stayed locked on mine, as if etching my very
Sam looked at him. "You miss her?" He asked calmly as he stepped slightly closer to me. The dark one snorted like it was the funniest thing ever. "I miss the way she screamed when we hurt her. When we took away her shoes, or when we plunged a needle into her arm or neck." He rasped. Disgust crawled over my skin as I recalled those horrifying memories. "What else do you miss? What else did you do to her?" Sam asked. I glanced at him, but his focus remained fixed on the dark one. "Tell me everything you did to her." He demanded. "Wouldn't you like to know." The dark one replied menacingly. Sam advanced toward me, gently brushing aside strands of hair that had fallen over my shoulder. I tensed slightly, but relaxed when his cool fingers touched my skin. "Do you miss her blood? Do you miss her taste on your tongue? Do you wish you bit directly into her neck?" Sam taunted the dark one loudly as his fingers trailed over my neck. The dark one tensed up. Sam smirked in response, and t
Sam clenched his fingers into the dark one's skin. "Tell me about the air bubble in her lungs." He demanded, holding his arm firmly around me. The dark one smirked, well aware he had precious information, and opened his mouth to speak. Suddenly, Sam twisted the hand of the dark one, and the sickening crunch made me clench my fists. I almost stepped away from the two, but held my ground, and quickly looked away from the bone protruding from the wrist of the black leathery skin. The dark one snarled, not in pain, but in anger. "The truth." Sam warned with a stern tone. The dark one's gaze shifted to me, focusing on my collarbone, where a drop of blood slowly made its way down my skin. Once again, Sam twisted the wrist. Another sickening crunch sent shivers down my spine. The dark one hissed angrily, revealing his blackening teeth. "He controls her with the air bubble. He knows exactly where she is at all times. The air bubble longs to return to its master, back home to its staff,
"You will need the staff of the king. It's the only way to extract it from her body." The dark one quickly said when Sam snatched a knife from the table. "Sammi, there's no time." Adrian announced. "How do I extract it?" Sam inquired as he ignored his brother. "We don't have the time, Sammi. You have to think about other ways. He's going to find her." Adrian insisted, raising his voice. Sam turned abruptly to face Adrian. "What will you have me do, brother?" Sam sneered at Adrian. Adrian took a step back but held his ground. "He's here in a few hours. I think it's wiser to prepare for his arrival." Adrian reasoned in a calmer tone. "This thing is coming out of her, Adrian. I'm not leaving it.... Live... Inside her. Even when I drive a stake through his bloody brain, the first thing that's going to happen is killing everything that's not supposed to be near her." Sam warned in a low tone. "Let alone inside her. I'll yank that damn thing out of her with my bare hands, if I have to."
"Flower." Sam addressed me, and I almost startled awake. I had been in a sort of dream state ever since coming down."Go with Adrian. You can convince Shea to help us out. She's scared of you." Sam said, nodding confidently."Scared of me?" I asked, my brows furrowing in confusion."I made sure to torture her with some mental images of you, just so she would never try anything." Sam explained. "With Adrian's help, you'll have her over in no time."Sam clicked his tongue and shared an eerie look with Elle."Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Sam asked her.Adrian and I looked at each other. These two were dangerous together."Definitely. This will be fun." Elle smirked with an almost wicked grin.Adrian frowned and eyed the two with doubt."We don't have much time. We must go. Now. Fay, Adrian, meet us by the lake before midnight. With Shea. We'll be there with our willing volunteer." Sam informed."Who is your willing volunteer?" I asked, not understanding why they were so gleeful.
