Chapter 104: Ice

It was silent. An ear-deafening silence.

"What?" Sam asked with a silent whisper.

"That's why he chose full moon - so he can get me pregnant." I explained in an anxious voice. Fear settled in my bones when I felt the air of fury around me. "He wants you to bear a child for him? He wants to impregnate you?" Sam stalked closer to me, and I would've stepped back, if my knees weren't already touching the bench, preventing any escape. I kept my eyes down on the ground, and saw his figure appearing in front of me. "And you agreed to this?" He asked sharply.

I looked up at him, at his full black eyes. Sam seemed bigger, more dangerous.
