Chapter 20: Let's play a game

Mammon pulled me close to him when walking through the castle, until we reached another set of double doors. I rolled my eyes. Why was one door not enough?

I realised too late that there were doors that were the exit to outside. I gasped at the feeling of the sun on my face. My head fell back and I took a deep breath of fresh air. The fresh air smelled exactly the same as the human world. The human world, where my friends and family still lived and waited for my return.
