Chapter Sixty Five

Elena's POV

“Can I have your number?” I said stopping her and handing her my phone. She took my phone and typed her number hastily before leaving.

My parents looked upset but relieved at the same time. Brandon still had a frown on his face. Madeline, Alyssa, Noah, and Eric were relieved too. On the other hand, Jake was standing like a monument with his hands inside his pocket and looking at the ground.

I walked to him and placed my hand on his shoulder. He looked at me then gave me a soft smile.

“Are you okay?”

“I’m fine. I’ll just go inside and freshen up.” He said making his way inside the manor.

“Do you think it’s a coincidence that Hanna’s twin sister appeared here?” Brandon asked breaking the ice.

“I think it is a coincidence,” I said.

“I agree with Elena,” Madeline said.

“Me too,” Alyssa said.

“I think it’s pretty late and we should leave. I am really tired,” Mom said.
